Visa Application Requirements for US citizens
A valid passport and visa are required to travel to this destination.

Passport Requirements:
Please send us your original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay, and with at least one blank visa page available for visa stamp(s). The amendment pages in the back of the passport cannot be used for visa stamps.

Bolivian Visa Application Form:

One visa application form per applicant properly completed and signed. Signature must be original on each application. Improperly completed forms may delay the processing of your visa.

Washington DC Application: There is an on-line application required in Washington DC. If sending your application to Washington DC, the form must be completed on-line, printed and signed.

Photo Requirements:
One recent 2 x 2 passport type photograph in color, front view and with a plain/white background.

OR - you can upload a passport photo to the Global Service Order Form when you place your order, instead of providing physical passport photos.

Official Invitation from Bolivia:
A letter of invitation from sponsor (either host company or individual) explaining the relationship to the applicant and the purpose of travel. In addition, the letter must indicate the length of stay, place of stay, and contact information.
New York Jurisdiction: The original, notarized invitation is required.

Business Letter:
Letter from employer or sponsoring company in the US, on company letterhead, introducing the applicant, indicating the applicant's employment status/position held in the company, and clearly stating the purpose of visit. The business letter must also indicate who will be financially responsible for the applicant and must provide detailed contact information in host country.

Proof Of Departure:
Computer generated flight itinerary from the airline or travel agency or copy of airline tickets.

Medical Requirements:
International certificate of vaccination against Yellow Fever.

Financial Requirements:
Evidence of sufficient funds to support stay in destination such as pay stubs, traveler's cheques, and/or most recent bank statement. A photocopy of applicant's credit card (front side) is also accepted.

Global Service Order Form:
This is Travisa's service order form, where you will provide your contact and shipping information, choose the visa processing needed and make your payment. You must print the completed form and send it to Travisa with all other supporting documents.
Bolivia Visa Validity:
Business visas (Specific Purpose) are issued for a single entry, valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Visas can only be extended in Bolivia through the Bolivian Immigration Department (Dirección Nacional o Regional de Migración).
Bolivian Visa Processing Time:

A copy of confirmed hotel and/or cruise reservation(s.) If staying in various hotels, please provide copies of each reservation. A letter from inviting family member or friend is required if they are providing accommodations to the applicant.

If applying in New York, a Police Clearance Certificate

Bolivia Visa Validity:
Tourist visas are valid for 5 years from date of issue. The admission period per year will be of 90 days. The visa holder will be able to use the visa 3 times in one year for a total period of 90 days.
